This was a job on a prototype home for Harconbridge Construction that’s being used as their show home. In general these are smaller, affordable homes. With this aluminum cladded building we started by calking every seam. we then applied CCMC Approved two pound density, closed cell spray foam insulation sealing all of the cracks and gaps in the home. Customer knew the benefits of spray foam, wanted that air tight seal, and highest r-value per inch of thickness.
Spray Polyurethane Foam insulation (SPF insulation) technology will increase the value, life, and overall comfort of this home.
There are important differences to note between spray foam insulation systems and conventional insulation materials. The primary characteristic is that spray foam does not sag, settle, or shrink over time. Spray foam insulation is spray applied to fill cavities of any shape offering a continuous air barrier and it stays in place.
